The mission of the Chicago Build the Peace Committee is to mainstream a Culture of Peace in Chicago.  This means that we work to promote the values, attitudes, behaviors and institutions that build the peace in individuals, families, schools, neighborhoods and the city as a whole.

In memory of Maggie Daley, Honorary Co-Chair of the Chicago Build the Peace Committee from 2008-2010:  We pay tribute to your tireless dedication to the well being of children and youth, demonstrating to Chicago and the world a wonderful example of mainstreaming a Culture of Peace.
